FAQ: How much time do they take to make?

Every hoop varies, obviously the smaller the design the less time it will take, whereas the bigger the design and more detail, the more time it will take.

Bride & Groom portraits take about 5 hours, pet portraits (thread painting) take over 10 hours per pet. I can usually manage about 1-2 hours of embroidery a day, with a good Netflix series! (I'm actually on Sky at the moment watching Brassic, anyone else?) So depending on how many orders I have at one time, I can usually have Bride & Groom portraits ready to post out within a week, pet portraits I usually quote 3-4 weeks at quiet times. I will always let you know at the time of ordering the length of time it will take and I keep in touch throughout so you can see how your hoop is progressing.
